I obsess whenever I lose something. I mean, I seriously obsess. I cannot rest or relax until I find it….yes, it really is that bad.
When I lose something it makes me feel like my life is out of sorts, and I have to make it right. Today, I lost some of my shorts and albeit that may sound petty, I searched high and low for those darn things. I mean, I really searched. All I can hope now is that some miracle will happen and they will be revealed to me, jackie accidentally took them and has them at the apartment, they are mixed up with sheets/towels somewhere, or I’m just going to have to go to old navy and try to buy another pair like them. I’ll just keep praying they return back to my safe-keeping! I mean, they’re only shorts so they are either here at home SOMEWHERE or they are at the apartment. Those are the only places I’ve been so they have to be there.
Yes, I obsess when I lose things.
this is completely, 100% true. when my sister loses things, she goes crazy. seriously, certifiably crazy. she texts me, calls me, forces me to go through our entire house/apartment/car, makes me search for days on end. this could be searching for a t-shirt, lip gloss or something as silly as a necklace. the obsession becomes frantic and nuts, and then she starts leaving little notes everywhere that say, “FIND WHITE AMERICAN EAGLE TANKTOP,” for instance, in the hopes that by the words existing, the tank-top will magically appear.
yes, she does obsess when she loses things. to put it mildy.
